I AM SO ANGRY!!!
The people living in the apartment next to mine (City Park 1, apartment 204...feel free to pee on their door) have been playing really loud music almost every night for MONTHS. Their speakers are right against my wall so not only can I hear the bass, I can feel it. My bed shakes, my door rattles, and I go insane. After talking to the landlord previously, she told me to not talk to them/confront them about the noise (which I had been doing), and to stop pounding on the wall (guilty, again). She said I should try calling the security guard...okay. I started doing that--alot--lately, and the security guard started getting snippy with me b/c I kept on waking him up from his late night naps (no wonder we have so many bums around city park, damn security guard is sleeping!). He even hung up on me a couple of times. So to trick him into doing his job, I've begun varying the tone of my voice so he thinks that it isn't one person calling, but 20 different people (unless he has caller-ID, then I just look stupid). Yesterday I did both the high-pitched voice (which was even more effective b/c I claimed I lived on a different floor), as well as the best male voice I could do. Jason also called, and he can attest to my claim that yes, the security guard does not know how to answer his phone.
I've begun cataloguing my loud neighbors' musical escapades on a post-it note on my desk.
Saturday 04/03: 11 pm - 12:30 am; ignored security guard twice, turned music up incredibly loud for two songs before stopping.

Learn how to drive so you can live where I live! This complex is very quiet, with exception to the fiesta music that plays from the next apartment, but that rarely happens!
You can have cats too!
I think it's time to change our banners to "Eating Bad in the NeighborBad"
